Thanks for coming by the site. I'm Jason.  

I've had the honor of serving in ministry for many years now. Crazy. I've had the honor of serving in a para-church ministry, churches and consulting. I've been the guy in the back of room observing and the guy on stage communicating truth. A lot of my time has been spent in the discipleship and investment of others and I'm eternally grateful for those relationships and opportunities He has trusted me with over the years.

Over those years I've blogged and podcast-ed and written a few books. This site is a collection of some of that. The blogs are somewhere in internet history these days, but the Back Porchin' Podcast lives on. You'll find the link to that on this page. ​Years ago a friend said "you love to hang out on the porch with your friends and talk about life and faith." He's right, I do. Pontificating means sharing ones opinion and if you hit the right button at the right time, I'm not afraid to pontificate.

 I'm eternally grateful for the friendship and Jesus focus that consistently comes from having a safe place to chew on the collision of everyday life and faith. Hope you'll find something here that might be helpful for you too. ​
