Be strong, and let us fight bravely for our people and the cities of our God. The Lord will do what is good in his sight.
2 Samuel 10:12 (NIV)
Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called when you made your good confession in the presence of many witnesses.
1 Timothy 6:12 (NIV)
I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.
2 Timothy 4:7 (NIV)
I want to fight the good fight. I've learned the best way to do that is not only a daily process of continually learning more and more about what it means to fully follow Jesus, but also it requires having healthy, authentic community around me to do that as well.
This journey can be brutal and life giving. At the same time. Life can be a battle .
But it's a battle worth fighting. He has me here for a reason. You too. And knowing that gives us a purpose that propels divine hope in our life.
Following Jesus is not for the faint of heart. I need others in the trenches with me to help me as I navigate the collision of everyday life and a transformative faith.
So do you.
That's why I am excited to share that the Lord has led me to something special for what's next.
One of those guys who has been in the trenches for me for almost 30 years is my friend George. We've been doing life and ministry together in some way for a long time.
I am excited that all that has led to this. He and I are starting a new ministry with the mission to help others experience the power of authentic community. We desire to be a Jesus focused group of humble servants who help others fight the good fight. We are trying to do the same and want to leverage what's in our cup to pour out to others.
We want to help churches and groups have some simple tools to help connect folks into community. We want to serve churches to help get men connected. Serving church leaders is heavy on our hearts.
We want to help others who want to fight the good fight. George and I have a life time of experiences... good and bad. If we can help others, what a gift. That might be in person or online, but we see part of this ministry in service of others.
We want to create intentional spaces and retreats for folks to get away and have time to rest, recharge, and focus on experiencing community and taking new and next steps as a group.
Simply put, we want to help you fight the good fight well.
Much more soon, but for now...
Welcome to The Good Fight Collective.
